What to write about?

Time flies and somehow I seem not to find the time or inspiration to write on my blog.
Today was one of the first nice spring-days, after this somewhat long winter. Not that we had really much of a winter, but that seems to be what it is like in the Netherlands: snow with easter, green grass with Christmas.
In the meantime we did put the clock 1 hour forward, and early in the morning the birds do sing their "highest song". Spring is around the corner. Which means that summertime is not too far away either.

I'm really looking forward to the time to come.

First there is my visit again to the U.S, end of may. I'm about to stay for 4 weeks and although I know that is too short to see everyone as much as I would like, and not to forget too short to do all the talking and the watching of videos etc.etc., this time the excitement lies more in the fact that the goodbye after those 4 weeks, will be for not too long a period because.... all my family is coming to visit me, here, in the second half of July.!!!
I can't believe this is really going to happen, but yes the flights have been booked, and Alec talked about "in the plane we will have water, oma" - so what I have hoped for, for quite some years, is becoming reality.

In the meantime I'll fill my days with the usual things like working in the bookstore and the library, walking with my "walking-mate", visiting some wonderful museums with "my" "club", and enjoying company-every now and then- from friends and siblings.
Next week I do have a job interview( library). I'll keep my fingers crossed for that and hope that you will do the same for me. It might help. ;-))

Time now to take my book and a nice cup of tea, before I'll hit the sack.
Sweet dreams, all of you.
